Warranty covers manufacturing defects and premature cell capacity failure. Valid from date of original purchase invoice. 1. 2-Year Replacement Warranty: Battery replaced free of charge if capacity falls below 80% of rated capacity within 2 years under normal use. 2. 1-Year Extended Warranty: Purchasable within 30 days of standard warranty expiry. 3. Warranty void if: physically damaged, submerged, modified, or charged with non-VD charger. 4. Normal capacity degradation up to 20% over warranty period is not covered. 5. Original proof of purchase and vehicle registration required for claims. 6. Battery must be returned to authorized VD Motors service centre. 7. VD Motors reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide equivalent credit.

For optimal performance and longest battery life: 1. Optimal charging temperature: 10°C to 40°C. 2. Optimal discharging temperature: -10°C to 55°C. 3. Allow 15–20 minutes cool-down after long rides before charging. 4. Never charge in direct sunlight or high-temperature environments. 5. Battery surface above 50°C triggers BMS thermal protection — normal safety response. 6. Cold weather: expect 10–15% reduced range below 5°C until battery warms up. 7. Storage over 2 weeks: store at 40–60% charge in cool, dry location. 8. Swelling, burning smell, or abnormal heat: stop use immediately.

The VDG SWIFT 45 is optimized for: • Heavy daily commuters: 50–80 km per day who want 20–30% battery buffer remaining • Long-route delivery professionals: 80+ km daily without mid-day charging • Riders in areas with unreliable charging infrastructure • Commercial use: daily rental/fleet operations requiring maximum range per charge Not recommended for: modified vehicles >1000W, racing/competition use.

1. Use provided VDG charger (54.6V / 6A) only. 2. Standard 5-amp socket. No special installation needed. 3. Full charge time: approximately 7.5 hours from empty. 4. Charge in dry, ventilated location. 5. Maximum continuous charge: 14 hours. 6. Daily: charge to 80–90% for longer cell life. 7. Storage >1 month: maintain 50% charge, check every 3 months. 8. Charge when indicator shows 15% or lower.
